Manual therapy
Manual therapy is a specialization for problems of the neck, back and pelvis, but also for problems in the limbs. Through manual therapy we help regain freedom of movement, reduce pain and keep it under control.
Manual techniques include softening and stretching of muscles and tendons (muscular approach), joint mobilizations and manipulations (articular approach) as well as neurogenic techniques (neurodynamics).
The techniques applied are determined after a thorough history and clinical examination.
Manual therapy helps you:
- reduce pain through manual techniques
- recover faster because a targeted search for the cause of complaints is carried out
- avoid possible relapses by individual prevention taught to patients (home plan)

Sports physiotherapy
Sports physiotherapy focuses primarily on the treatment of sports-specific injuries (acute or chronic) and postoperative rehabilitation. Rehabilitation is adapted to the sport you practice, whether recreational or competitive. An individual plan is established for each patient, including manual treatments and supervised exercise therapy, as well as an exercise program. We encourage and teach our patients to appropriate recovery, prevention and responsible improvement of sports performance. We provide tailored training advice, sport-specific exercise programs, and re-workouts for people with a desire to get back to it!
Thanks to a sports screening, we can guide you to properly improve your sports performance, return to sport and avoid injuries.

Kinésithérapie
neurologique

Temporomandibular physiotherapy
Temporomandibular joint pain affects, according to studies, 30 to 50% of the adult population at some point in their lives. The etiopathogenesis is multifactorial but is mainly consecutive to uncoordinated or exaggerated muscular tensions, responsible for ligament and capsular, discal and muscular lesions. The pain is often accompanied by joint noises, cracking.
The goals of maxillofacial physiotherapy are:
-
Mouth opening recovery
-
Reduce pain, contractures and edema
-
Recover normal muscle strength

Vestibular physiotherapy
Re-educate your ear to forget your problems of dizziness, nausea due to this vestibular problem
This very specific type of rehabilitation is aimed at patients suffering from vertigo or balance problems having a vestibular origin.
The vertigo most frequently treated in rehabilitation are:
-
Benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV), the most common, is a very intense vertigo lasting a few seconds, which is triggered in particular positions of the head (turning the head, positioning the head backwards , .). This type of vertigo is related to the movement of small crystals (otoliths) in the semicircular canals of the inner ear. These dizziness are easily cured by very specific liberating maneuvers.
-
Vestibular neuritis presents as dizziness that lasts several hours or even days. It may come from a virus. The patient feels a very great imbalance and a feeling of intoxication which can prevent him from walking “straight”. A very specific balance rehabilitation will help the patient regain his initial balance and reduce dizziness.

Perineal physiotherapy
Urinary incontinence, urinary disorders (emergencies, overactive bladder, recurrent cystitis, etc.). Anal incontinence, chronic constipation. Prolapse (bladder, uterine or anal). Sexual pain (vaginismus, dyspareunia, vulvodynia) and sexual difficulties. Chronic pelvic pain and pudendal neuralgia. The perineal rehabilitation carried out by a specialized physiotherapist helps to reduce these disorders and improve the daily life of the person who suffers from them.During the first session, an assessment of the perineum is carried out in order to assess whether there are any defects, then a treatment plan is established with the patient's agreement.Perineal re-education and perineal assessment are also essential in the postpartum setting after childbirth.Do not hesitate to discuss with your general practitioner or your gynecologist/urologist/gastroenterologist the relevance of having recourse to perineal physiotherapy sessions. You can also contact me by email or phone if you have any questions or if you want information.
Prenatal and postnatal physiotherapy
Prenatal physiotherapy consists of preparing the mother-to-be for childbirth. It also helps relieve pain during pregnancy. Postnatal physiotherapy begins 6 to 8 weeks after childbirth, vaginally or by cesarean section. The objective is to restore tone to the muscles of the perineum and the abdominal muscles. An assessment of the perineum carried out by a specialized physiotherapist is always carried out at the start of a postnatal follow-up. The following sessions aim to help the young mother to preserve her abdominal strap and her perineum in her daily life and in her sporting activity.
